As Principal of Fire Review Solutions Jonathan is a Chartered Professional Fire Engineer, with professional engineering consultancy experience in the UK and New Zealand since 1994, and NZ experience in fire engineering design, regulatory review and peer review services since 2001. Prior to commencing a fire engineering career, Jonathan was a mechanical building services consultant engineer.Jonathan has significant technical and practical experience for small to large scale building design projects, applying Acceptable Solutions (C/AS2), Verification Method (C/VM2) or alternative solutions using specific fire engineering design from first principles.​He is proficient in the use of fire engineering software models used for fire engineering design or peer review purposes, including B-Risk, Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS), Firewind, Thermal Radiation Analysis (TRA), Pathfinder
